Another clear, cloudless morning and the temperature is another degree or so higher. Turkish merchants rapidly unpack their wares and nod appreciatively at the Czech girls. In Turkey 5% more boys are born than girls and so there is a shortage of young ladies. Only after 65 years of their life do the tables turn and there are 15% more old women than there are old men. That's par for the course though.
At the starting ground, at an elevation of 1990 meters, a fresh east wind is blowing and it's even possible to do some ridge soaring over the crest. For some beginners, however, this noticeably complicates taking off.

More and better acrobatic feats continue to be performed over the sea. There are seven Czechs and three Slovaks registered for the "Acro" competition. Tonda "Tony" Pallas, Tomáš Lednik and Juraj Kleja are our irons in the fire and all competitiors speak well of them. Especially after Tonda's feats landing him in the water today.

Some of the restaurants and pubs regularly offer 50% discounts between 7 and 9 p.m., not only on food but on drinks as well. When you take into consideration the price of 30 Czech Crowns per person at the campsite, living in Ölüdeniz can be quite cheap.
