Clouds are coming from the west side since early morning and a good part of the sky is covered with clouds at nine o'clock. Three lonely pilots are hanging round the down cableway station with their gliders and only God knows whether somebody will go up today. Music plays, a roasts are roasted, there's no reason to hurry.
"I know that everybody wants to enjoy a cheap alcohol but don't abuse it," the main organiser Nikolay Yotov warns pilots during a short briefing after ten o'clock and pilots go up to the taking off zone at eleven o'clock at last.

A very light wind from southwest side is blowing straight to the slope but the sunshine is too weak. After a long waiting organisers claim free flying about one hour past noon. Pilots gradually fly down to the valley and Achim Joos can be seen with a group of German competitors climbing up to the mountains shortly before two o'clock in the afternoon.
Thus nothing changed in total results after this day, Mathias Roten leads the competition and a weather forecast promises a little bit better conditions for tomorrow.
