Monday, May 3th
"He told me I am a pansy so I banged him with my handbag on a head, and my lipstick got broken," someone is trying to chase the gloom away in the hangar at Stranik and Petr Pokorný is choosing a better method to do so; he is pouring great Bikavér into the glasses from a half-empty demijohn, that wasn't finished yesterday evening. It is pouring down with rain outside and there is a pond being created on a concrete parking area in front of the hangar.

Just before the noon is the cloudiness above Stranik disappearing and Palo Vavro announces on a briefing at 12:30 free discipline, which means distance flight in arbitrary direction, naturally with a limitation of a state border with Poland and skyways. It is possible to fly only until 17:30, after this hour all the pilots got to be on land. Hardly anybody guess that they will be on land much earlier.

Launching window is opened at 13:00, but because the trial bugs are step by step rots into the saddle under the west launch, none of the competitors feels like going into the air. Michal Orolin opens up his canopy above the west launch only at 13:20 and he is starting into the weak wind under the loud cheer. After a few inadmissible left turns (today there should be right turning above the launch) he, although got about 20m above Stranik, is in a few minutes disappearing deep below the launch. There is first lighting being heard and the sky above Stranik is quickly darkening. It is starting to rain and all the competitive field is running away into the hangar like as they are ordered to do so.

But at 14:50 the sky is blue again and a second round of attempts to departure is going on, now from the southeast launch. Ceilings are unfortunately poor, and it's getting dark from the south again, starting to drizzle and a third competitive day is ending without any points again.
