According to yesterday's forecast strong south wind blows over Stranik from the early morning. A wind sleeve at the taking off point flares perpendicularly to a pole and Lysa hora in Beskydy Mountains reports 12m/s from the south at eight in the morning.
Shortly after noon a 28 kilometers long task is declared at a briefing after all. Its goal is located behind Cadca and 90 minutes long starting window is open at 1 p.m. But the high speed of wind discourages most af pilots and only after 15 minutes of waiting Tonda Pallas decides to try his fortune and goes for it. Mirek "Radar" Stehula follows him 15 minutes later and Mirek Volny too. Still next five pilots take off shortly before closing the starting window but the sky is overcast that time and today's task changes to an ordinary soar above Stranik.

Mirek Volny voluntarily lands down beside Teplicka one hour later, Tonda Pallas lands back to the taking off point and Hanka Matyaskova happily breaks through the strong wind to a landing zone under Stranik at last. The final ranking doesn't change at all after this day and the competition is definitely finished. Announcing the winners is prepared in Varin camp and some refreshment as well.
Ludek Prochazka is the winner of the total ranking of the competiton, Peter Vrabec finished the second and Tomas Svoboda is the third.
Ludek Prochazka is also the winner of the Czech ranking, Tomas Svoboda reached the second position and Renata Kuhnova the third one.
Peter Vrabec becomes the winner of the Slovak ranking, Miso Cierny is the second and Tomas Bernat finished as the third.
In the ranking of woman Renata Kuhnova was the best this year, leaving the second Pavlina Herberova and the third Hanka Matyaskova behind.
